Story:

Pappu (krishnudu) is a good natured young man but then his life is always filled with bad luck and misfortune. Though he has a will to help, others get benefit from him but he only suffers humiliation and defeat. That’s why he becomes the scapegoat at his office as well. Things begin to look good for Pappu when he sees Radha (dipikka), the daughter of his boss (banerjee). He is smitten by her and starts liking her. However, Radha gets kidnapped by few goons and her dad decides to take the help of the ace detective Ram (subbaraju). For a strong reason, he tells Ram that even Pappu should also accompany him while tracing Radha. What is that reason and whether Pappu is successful in his love story or not forms the rest of the story.

Artist performances:

Krishnudu hogs the limelight yet again and this time, he has come out of his shell and showed tremendous confidence, his efforts in dance and other expressions were commendable. Though his character didn't have that strength, he infused life into it with his performance. Subbaraju looks trim and handsome but there were places where he was imitating other stars. If he can avoid that, it will be very good for him. Dipikka looks beautiful and she has shown comfort in front of the camera, she could have avoided that extra dose of make up as she has fair and glowing skin. Banerjee did his bit as required, Surya was hardly there, Junaid was okay, Uttej contributed effectively, Gundu Hanumantha Rao got few smiles.

Plus points:

    * Krishnudu
    * The chemistry between Subbaraju and Krishnudu
    * Twist before interval

Minus points:

    * weak direction
    * unwanted background score
    * poor technical aspects
    * lack of intensity in scenes
    * no depth in characters
    * fundamental errors in scene composition

Analysis:

The film runs on a wafer thin plot so a lot depended on how the scenes were executed and the strength of the screenplay. Both were missing and that’s what led the film to a bleak pace. It always looked like the actors gave their best effort but the involvement of the director looked minimal. Songs looked promising but they were not after two –three lines. Editing was aggressive which led to scenes getting cut abruptly. Primarily, it is the director who must take responsibility for the drawbacks since he could not handle it in the right manner and failed to draw the interests of the audience. That led to a chain reaction in the form of poor technical support etc. This might have a decent opening at the box office due to the presence of Krishnudu but eventually, it will fail to attract.

Verdict:  Disappointing!!
